Being responsive to you

In my first job after college, I worked for former Councilmember Roger Berliner, managing his transportation, energy, and environment portfolio. Through that work, I worked on some big policy ideas, like launching the Montgomery County Green Bank, making Montgomery County a leader in the clean energy transition, and designing the Great Seneca Transit Network.

I also worked on constituent services issues, and I was the person who picked up the phone when you called Councilmember Berliner with an issue. I know how to get a pothole fixed and a tree trimmed. But I’ve also seen how some issues are taking too long to resolve.

As I have met with many of you during the first part of this campaign, I’ve heard how important it is for you to have a Councilmember focused on constituent service. I’ll make sure my office gets back to you quickly when you call with a concern. As Councilmember, it will be a top priority for me to work on these day-to-day, quality of life issues that I know matter so much to us.

I was proud to be joined by my friend and District 1 resident Nancy Abeles, who I met when I worked for Councilmember Berliner. Click below to watch my video with Nancy to learn about our work together on the BRT Corridor Advisory Committee and how I’ll be a consensus builder who gets things done.

Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back in touch soon.
