Drew is an experienced leader who builds consensus and gets results. From pushing forward major transportation projects that create good-paying jobs to advancing traffic safety, fixing potholes, and fighting for consumers and the environment, Drew stands up for District 1.
This community is special—and it’s under threat. From Trump’s layoffs and funding cuts to a deepening housing crisis and rising costs, District 1 faces unprecedented challenges that demand bold, local leadership.
We must make it easier and more affordable to do business in Montgomery County so local jobs and salaries can grow. I’ll partner with employers and cut red tape to support small businesses and unlock economic opportunity for our skilled workforce.
Education is central to our community’s future, and the Council must ensure every dollar drives better outcomes for every student. I’ll push for strong oversight, smart investments in early education, and transparent engagement with parents and teachers.
I know how to get a tree trimmed or a streetlight fixed. My career has been about bringing people together to deliver critical infrastructure projects. We can address traffic congestion, make our roads safer, and accelerate the transition to carbon-free transportation systems with the right, targeted investments that serve the most people.
